Marushin:  COLT XM177E2 Commando is a full size 1:1 scale metal blowback replica with over 170 parts. Highly detailed and weighs about the same as the original. This is an Official COLT Recognition replica (pre 2000),  not a cheap copy.  Has all correct COLT markings and is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.    No makers name, just COLT.   

This is the self build version.  Not pre-built, modified and tuned like the 325 GBP version we supply.

New, boxed with easy to follow visual instructions for self-build.  Includes:  5x Marushin 5.56mm blowback cartridges and 1x box of PFC caps (50 7mm & 50x 5mm).

This replica is engineered precisely like the original, and also operates like the original in every way, such as loading, chambering and ejection of rounds (5 included / more available), magazine loading and removal, movable forward assist, stock assembly, sights, semi/ full auto and safety selector. Can be field striped EXACTLY like the original. It lock, loads, cocks, fires and ejects (see video above). This is a full size 1:1 metal version. Ideal for the collector, museum or training/ instruction purposes.  Like the original also FIRES on Semi and Full auto.   See videos above.

There are over 180 parts,  only the stock, hand guard and flash hider are made of abs (A1 metal flash hider available and metal XM177 barrel), everything else is of metal construction. The XM177 includes five 5.56mm blowback rounds (reusable) which uses the Plug Fire Cartridge system (Blowback). The 20rd magazine will take 20 of these rounds, (30rd mags also available). The rounds can be loaded with a primer/ caps (2 per cartridge). Like the original XM177 can be fired either on semi or full automatic!!!. The effect is a real simulation of the XM177 in action. The caps produces the blowback action, barrel smoke and eject the shell(s). In real time this all happens very quickly and a full magazine can be discharged in the same time as the real XM177.  Its a great effect and all without an actual projectile being fired. Even without the cap you can load, chamber manually eject a round out the ejection port. This what makes these model gun perfectly safe and legal to own without any documentation or pre authorisation.
