The MGC
XM177E2 Commando is made from
heavyweight abs and metal parts, weighs
approx. 2.2kg
(unloaded).
The MGC replica works and also operates just like the real thing, such as loading,
chambering and ejection of rounds, magazine loading and removal, stock aperture (for
holding a cleaning kit), adjustable sights, semi/ full auto and safety selector. Can be
field striped EXACTLY like the original. It locks, loads, cocks, fires and ejects.
Has open barrel for venting smoke.
Like the original, the XM177 can be fired either on semi or full automatic
with shells flying everywhere. The shells take a
M.G cap, the cap produces the bang,
barrel smoke and ejects the shell(s). In real time this all happens very quickly and a
full magazine can be discharged in the same time as the real M16. Its a
great effect
and all without an actual projectile being fired.
Great for movie or theatre work or the re-enactor.
